Hora das Palavras (translates to “Time for Words”) is a Strategic Consultant working in two main areas: Communication and Marketing & Strategy and Innovation, with the main goal of responding effectively and pragmatically to the needs of its clients.

We’re not big, we’re small, and we believe that this way we can make a difference, especially through the dedication and time we offer each and every one of our clients.

Nowadays, organisations of all business areas, types and sizes are currently faced with challenges regarding: How will I communicate? When? To whom? And through which channels?

As this demands a complex answer to say the least, we say "talk to us" .

Today we operate all over Portugal, with offices in Lisbon and Évora, the city where we were born in 2008 to support the local business ecosystem, which at the time was not efficient in the areas of communication and marketing.

João Nasi Pereira

CEO
  • Founding Partner of HORA DAS PALAVRAS, he brings 25 years of experience in communication and public relations. Throughout his career, he has worked with several leading companies operating in Portugal.
  • He was responsible for the launch of Logitech in Portugal and coordinated the introduction of 3G technology by Vodafone Portugal. With BETA-I, at the early stage of the organisation, he developed—at the height of the economic crisis—awareness initiatives around entrepreneurship and idea acceleration as the logical pathway for the recovery of the Portuguese economy.
  • More recently, he has worked with brands such as Facebook, Instagram, and Karl Lagerfeld.
  • He collaborates with the Digital Marketing Academy and, since February 2024, has been a Guest Lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre.

Ana Isabel Ferreira

Senior Communication Specialist
  • With a degree in Corporate Communication and a specialisation in Marketing Management from IPAM, as well as in Digital Marketing from Lisbon Digital School, she also holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Strategy from NOVA SBE. She has over 14 years of experience in communication, marketing, digital marketing and customer relations.
  • She has developed communication, digital marketing and brand strategy for organisations such as GLS Portugal, STET Caterpillar, Zagope, Lipor, AGRO.GES, ASSIMAGRA, ASPEA, BrandCare, Grupo Continental Hotels, Forté Pharma, Abbott, Aralab, Miele Professional, Remax ExpoGroup, Triumph Motorcycles, Águas de Portugal, among many others.
  • She also maintains editorial collaboration with technical magazines across various industrial sectors, including food, agriculture, public works and mining. She teaches in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication and Strategy.

Anabela Fernandes

Business Developer
  • With a degree in Marketing from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Évora, she has over 12 years of experience in communication and marketing, developing her career in different sectors and companies.

  • Throughout her career, she has held positions in brand management, social media, communication, and strategic planning in organizations such as Óptica Havaneza, Corkart, and Grupo Remax Alcateia. As a managing partner of Avião de Papel – marketing and communication, she coordinated integrated digital and offline marketing projects, focusing on creating tailor-made strategies for each client.

  • In terms of continuing education, she has specialized in Digital Marketing, Facebook Ads, Community Management, Social Media, and Photoshop, among other areas fundamental to current marketing practice.

Joana Regalo Vieira

Multitasker
  • Holding a degree in Advertising and Marketing Management, she is a communication professional with more than two years of experience, recognised for her versatility and ability to adapt to different contexts and challenges. She works on projects across multiple communication domains, taking part in various stages of the process, including content creation and event organisation.
  • With a strong interest in innovation and creativity, she remains actively involved in associative initiatives and volunteering, reflecting a consistent commitment to public causes. At Hora das Palavras, she contributes to the development of effective communication solutions guided by purpose, clarity and impact.
